Michael McCallion mentioned that Uncle Chick had paid for James (Pop) McCallion to be included on a memorial at Ellis Island.
It seems his name is on the "Wall of Honor", panel 284. This is a circular wall with names etched in, like:
I'll go and take a picture of panel 284 at some point.
You can buy a certificate of the panel for $30, based on this on the Ellis Island site:
There's a few McCallions on the wall, but also this:
That McCallion/Meehan combination could be a relative ... will need to research.
There's also quite a few McBrides.
