Murlog church

Thanks to Paul for this old postcard of the Murlog church, where James McCallion and Mary Hagney got married in 1874 and had all their childrens' baptisms. It was built in the 1700s.

This is the same church where Paul's grandfather John is buried, as well as his siblings William and Sarah (all siblings of James McCallion/Pop):

McCallion Reunion

WOW, what an event!

Thanks so much to Michael and Bea for arranging this event, and to their daughter Jennifer for bringing it all together! (and Melissa too! and others!)

Thanks also to all those who traveled so far to be a part of this: Texas, Ireland, etc!

And special thanks to Michael for including those beyond the ancestors of James McCallion and Anne McBride, and to include the grandchildren of James' siblings:

- Paul McCallion, grandson of James' oldest brother John.

- Fran Miller and her sister Jean, both granddaughters of James' brother Michael.

- Stephen Meyler and Marina Meyler, grandchildren of James' sister Anne

Hagneys and Falcarragh

Paul McCallion visited the old Hagney home in Falcarragh, as well as the Hagney descendants that still live there. (I think this was Liam Hagney ... waiting for Paul to confirm)

James (Pop's) McCallion's parents were James McCallion and Mary Anne Hagney, and she was from Falcarragh.

Paul also mention other descendants: Michael Hagney from Rice Lake Wisconsin and Donna Colburn his sister also from Rice Lake. Need to research this further
